The little Zak from Les Parent needs to start wearing glasses. He’s checking out different styles on the Internet with his teenaged brother Olivier and his father.
On a website, Olivier sees a pair of really cool glasses for his little brother Zak. He tells Zak that he’d look great with them, and that everybody in his class at school would be amazed with him if he had them:
Avec ça, là, tu vas vraiment avoir l’air nice. Tout le monde dans ta classe va capoter sur toi.
Nice is pronounced like in English. You might hear a younger person say it. C’est nice, j’aime ça!
In Quebec, you’ll hear classe pronounced as clâsse. The â makes an “aww” sound. In ta classe, the letter a isn’t pronounced the same way in both words (tah clawss).
