In Les Parent, we hear the characters talk about the evening meal in different scenes.
Thomas tells his girlfriend that he’s prepared a super good supper for her:
J’t’ai préparé un super bon souper!
In another scene, Natalie and Louis (the parents) are hosting two of their friends for supper. It was meant to be a quiet get-together, but then Natalie’s teenaged son phones home and says that he’s coming with his friends to eat. Natalie asks her guests if they don’t mind that her son and his friends join them:
Ça vous dérange pas qu’ils soupent avec nous?
When the boys arrive, Natalie’s friend reminds the boys that they haven’t eaten supper yet:
Vous avez pas encore soupé […].
