Stay dedicated to your French

5 November 2012 by OffQc

A few weeks ago, I was injured in an accident. I am unable to fully commit to the blog right now because of this.

Things are probably going to be quiet around here for a while, but I will be back!

In the meantime, check out some of the programming on tou.tv — some of my usual recommendations are there: Les Parent, La Galère, 30 vies…

Remember that one of the keys to moving forward is to keep extending your boundaries. Look for novel ways that allow you to speak and listen to French in different contexts.

Stay dedicated to your French and we’ll meet again here soon enough.

That’s rough! Take it easy! The site has more than enough great stuff to keep visitors learning while you’re recovering. Merci beaucoup!

Stay healthy and know your posts are always welcome, useful and fun. I’m trying to put together a group to stage a reading of “Jacques Cartier, Errant” just to use the French from Quebec. We’ll see. All the best to you!

Je suis désolé. J’espère que vous avez une bonne santé bientôt.

I am so sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you recover quickly. I agree that there is so much on your blog to help visitors learn while you are recovering. Take care and get lots of rest!

I am so sorry to hear of your accident. I discovered this blog a few months ago. My boyfriend is quebecois. We met this past March and I think we will be together for a very long time. Despite my many French books and many years of French classes, YOUR blog has been the best teacher for me to understand my boyfriend and his culture better. Thank you thank you. Merci! Feel better!

For those of you who like the show “Les Parent”, it is also available on Netflix, with subtitles (French or English)!
